About Stuart Norman
Stuart was born in 1960, childhood in Fife, with the great Will Maclean as his school art teacher. Swithered and declined Art College entry to study Dentistry.
Finally ‘came back’ to painting in 2011 on joining Smailholm Art Group now with Anthony Cawthorne’s guidance and tuition. He has exhibited at the Borders Art Fair, Smailholm village exhibitions and Allanbank Arts Open Exhibition. He was short listed in the RBS “views of Edinburgh” competition in 2016.
Stuart paints in acrylics, oils, pastels and watercolours and he currently attending a year long Landscape painting course at Leith School of Art
He lives in Kelso with his wife.
He still does teeth.
